Join Rebuilding Hope for our virtual SIX-DAY state certified Basic Sexual Assault Awareness Training (BSAAT). This training is an in-depth review of the systems and organizations that survivors/victims of sexual violence may interact with.
Topics covered in this training are including but are not limited to:
- Vicarious trauma awareness
- Trauma and the Brain
- Prosecuting and Investigating Sex Crimes
- Forensic Exams
- Intersections of Sexual Violence and Marginalized Identities
- Restorative Justice Processes
- Sex Trafficking Programs and Preventions
- Community and Systems Based Advocacy
*This is a cumulative training, attendees can miss only ONE (4 hr) virtual session. The virtual sessions and outside independent work total 30 hours. The certification lasts five years.
