Rebuilding Hope was honored to be presented with a check from Marce Edwards Olson, MultiCare Executive Director of Corporate Communications, as the recipient of a MultiCare Community Partnership Funds grant.
Rebuilding Hope has responded to all Pierce County Emergency Departments 24/7 for years to support victims of sexual assault during forensic exams, including at MultiCare facilities. We also partner with the Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital’s Pierce County Child Advocacy Center to ensure that teen victims and their caregivers are provided with confidential support throughout and after child abuse investigations.
This funding will allow us to better ensure we have staff available to meet all the Pierce County victim advocacy needs for this next year. We appreciate MultiCare for their commitment to community healing and health through collaboration!
Thanks to MultiCare for recognizing a critical area of need in our community. ReBuilding Hope serves the most vulnerable and most injured of our neighbors: victims of human trafficking. I’m proud to be a MultiCare patient, and I believe supporting ReBuilding Hope sends a message that together we can help reduce the harm to those who are hidden, and hurting.
